Meet Alesondra!
Hi everyone! My name is Alesondra.
I was born and raised in Texas – and while I don’t have an accent, I’m happy to talk about George Strait or sweet tea any day. I grew up in Houston, and went to college at St. Edward’s University, another Holy Cross school in Austin. The Holy Cross commitment to educating the heart and mind was an important pillar for my undergraduate experience, and something that I love about Notre Dame. After graduation, I spent a semester living in intentional community at the John Jay Institute in rural Pennsylvania. There, I read Great Books and enjoyed the company of the other fellows. I then worked at a nonprofit in DC and later joined a consulting firm that helped nonprofits raise money to further their mission. I eventually left that work to pursue my law degree here at Notre Dame. I love to read and appreciating slow living. I’m also a huge fan of comedy and stand-up (watching not performing), and love to laugh around campus with friends. It’s an honor to be an AR at Cavanaugh, and I’m excited to be living and learning with you all. |
